On December 12, 2023, the delegates from the Faculty of Medicine, Oita University, Japan visited the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University for the event of MOA signing ceremony between the two institutes. The executive representatives are Prof. Masafumi Inomata, MD (Dean of FM, Oita University) and Assoc. Prof. Roengsak Leetanaporn, MD (Dean of MEDPSU). The First Secretary of the Japanese Embassy in Thailand, executive team and lecturers from the 2 institutes also joined the signing ceremony.
Furthermore, the delegates visited the Department of Surgery in order to exchange the insights in surgical fields and to seek for the collaborative establishment. In addition, the delegates visited Songklanagarind Hospital and NKC Institute of Gastroenterology.
